How we can help
We are a team of professionals dedicated to helping families in District 69.
We offer, at no cost, a variety of programs designed to give people the tools to move forward, like one on one or family counselling. We have a diverse group of staff that include Youth Counsellors, Family Support Workers, FASD Keyworker, Children Who Witness Violence Counsellors (Harmony Program), Stopping the Violence Counsellors (TLC Program) Sexual Abuse Intervention Counsellor (SAIP), Supported Child Development Consultants, Infant Development Consultants, Physiotherapists and an Occupational therapist.
We can also help people access a wealth of resources.
You do not need a referral to access our programs all you need to do is call us.
We understand it's hard to ask for help.
Just do it and we'll help you through the challenges you may face.
How we have helped
"FRA's Early Intervention Program was fundamental to our family's ability to assist our child with her developmental delays. The staff worked as a team to support us both through the diagnosis and in developing a plan to provide our child with interventions that addressed her needs."
"The Family Support Worker never judged us. She let us know that we were doing a good job in a difficult situation. The suggestions she gave us for parenting really worked!!!"
"Having a Youth Counsellor really helped me. He helped me get a place to live. I still call him when things come up.(Youth Outreach)"
